Elisabetta Canalis, best known for being the Hollywood lothario’s girlfriend of two years until last June, has found herself in a new relationship with “Jackass” star Steve-O.The mismatched couple put rumors to rest on Monday when they were spotted locking lips in front of the paparazzi in Los Angeles. Canalis, 33, and the 37-year-old MTV star met through mutual friends and have been keeping a low profile for weeks, according to Radar Online.

While many are puzzled by Canalis’ move from Oscar-winner to stuntman, insiders say it was Steve-O’s humor that caught her attention."Steve makes Elisabetta laugh, and that's her weakness,” a source told Radar. “That was her favorite thing about George Clooney - he was always cracking her up and playing practical jokes on her.

"Believe it or not, George has a little ‘Jackass’ in him, and ever since Steve-O got sober, he's very sensitive and introspective, so Elisabetta is getting the best of both worlds.”The insider adds that the two aren’t serious just yet, but are simply “hanging out and hooking up.”The Italian beauty’s latest romance follows her short-lived fling with “True Blood” hunk Mehcad Brooks, which ended in November.
